Brian specializes in business litigation, insurance defense, employment law, general commercial litigation, and federal criminal defense as a member of the Criminal Justice Act Panel. Brian graduated from the Alexander Blewett III School of Law at the University of Montana, where he was an editor of the Montana Law Review and competitor on the school’s National Trial Team.
Brian clerked for United States Magistrate Judge John T. Johnston for the District of Montana, Great Falls Division. Afterward, Brian was an associate at Corette, Black, Carlson & Mickelson in Butte, Montana, focusing primarily on insurance defense. In 2019, Brian joined Hansberry & Jourdonnais as an associate attorney.
Raised in Missoula, Brian attended Carroll College, graduating with magna cum laude with a degree in Environmental Studies and Classical Studies. Outside of his law practice, Brian enjoys traveling with his wife and dog, sailing and skiing with his wife (the dog does not enjoy sailing and cannot ski), reading (typically alone), and watching classic movies (with whomever).
